Diana is a retired health professional, having worked as a registered nurse with a tertiary qualification in Health Promotion Strategic Planning. She was a co-author of "Moving On" a self-management program for people with a chronic condition which featured a section on managing your medicines.
As a health consumer, Diana has had an important role to play in health research, health system design, resource development, planning and evaluation of programs and representing consumers on committees. She has been a consumer representative on EDWG for ten years.
Diana became the consumer representative on local Quality Use of Medicines committee in the Blue Mountains. She is also a Senior Consumer Representative for the Consumer Health Forum of Australia since 2006.
