Dane holds Bachelor of Medical Science (Pharmacology) & Master of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Sydney. After experience in managing relationships between pharmaceutical firms, placement in the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA), & time face to face with patients in community pharmacy, he has recently completed his first year in Regulatory Affairs at MSD. Dane serves as the MSD nominated contact for MedAdvisor, as well as being responsible for the update & maintenance of clear, concise & correct CMI documents across multiple products.
Holding the belief that patients have a greater ability to make informed decisions about their healthcare than is often assumed, Dane sees the CMI as a platform to not only improve the quality usage of medicines, but also invite patients to build their understanding of pharmacotherapy & take an active role in their healthcare.
Dane is brand new to the to the EDWG committee & sees great advantage in efficient electronic distribution of CMIs to the healthcare provider as well as in the ability for patients to access this information with ease.
